Wine Bottling Party in Troy, NY
After a year and a month of its life as a ferment, our mint lemonbalm mead was ready for bottling. This wine is older than Fermentation on Wheels itself. After traveling with us for our whole journey, we thought this ferment deserved a party!
(FoW founder Tara and mint lemonbalm mead embrace each other)
It’s carboy-dwelling phase of life ended in Troy, NY where Fermentation on Wheels was hosted by the Contemporary Art Center at Woodside. Our friends at CAC and others from the Troy/Albany area climbed aboard the bus for a lively bottling party.
(Netta is awed as the wine is siphoned into bottles)
(Jordan rocks the corking machine)
(Our lovely new wine bottles alongside a classic FoW staple — pickles!)
Fermentation on Wheels visits Side Street Projects and gets an eyefull of inspiration.
